Briefly describe your primary responsibilities.

i am the main shipper here and i also help out with production when i can.

What tools and software do you use regularly to complete your work?

I require a PC that is equipped with ShipStation and Zebra label design as well as standard shipping supplies.

Can you walk us through a typical workday for you?

i first split out future bees from current orders, run ShipStation's automation rules, then organize and ship orders based on age/priority. if i have time at the end of my day i will either ship orders that came in throughout the day or go help with production tasks.

What tasks take up the majority of your time each day?

during the busy season, splitting out bees in the morning and packing orders throughout the day due to high volume.

Are there any repetitive tasks that you find yourself doing over and over?

yes but they are mostly physical tasks.

Which tasks do you find the most time-consuming?

physically packing the orders.

Are there tasks that you feel could be automated or made easier with the right tools?

not currently; ShipStation does a lot of the automation that i require.

What are the biggest challenges you face in your day-to-day work?

biggest challenge would be running out of material or product to ship but we haven't really had that issue lately.

Are there specific tasks or processes that often cause delays or frustration?

customer communication (or lack thereof) concerning orders can sometimes cause delays & frustration for me. changes in web design or sales can also cause confusion for customers when ordering online which can then make shipping muddy.
